The Head and the Heart chapel session for Fuel/Friends

THATH-group-2-450x674

The Head and the Heart have been a busy bunch of late — when they’re not playing festivals in beautiful surroundings like this and this , they’ve also been recording a brand new chapel session for Fuel/Friends, following their first session back in March 2011.

Recorded in a small chapel in the Manitou Springs foothills, the band managed to record three new songs as well as a reinterpretation of Honey Come Home (“this version smolders and hurts, echoed somberly by Charity’s prescient and mournful backing vocals”).
