Stealing Sheep headline UK tour announcement PLUS Alt-J (∆) support & new video

Stealing Sheep perform 'Tangled Up In Starts' in the woods of Sefton Park

Following rave reviews for their debut album ‘Into The Diamond Sun’, Stealing Sheep have announced a huge Autumn tour running from October through to December.

The first half of the tour sees the girls’ joining Mercury Prize nominated Alt-J (∆) as special guests, before they venture out alone for an even more extensive set of headline dates.

To mark the announcement, the trio have gifted us a special acoustic rendition of album track ‘Tangled Up In Stars’, filmed deep in the woods of Liverpool’s historic Sefton Park. You can watch that very performance below, plus find all of the UK dates. Be sure to catch one (or more!) of the shows…

“The debut album from Stealing Sheep strips the style of all Wicker Man cheese and stuffs it full of modern relevance – Warpaint vocals, Kills garage licks, Doors-y psychedelia and Animal Collective apocalypto-tribalism.”
NME – 8/10

“A delightful bag of pick’n’mix.. For all Stealing Sheep’s maverick influences, it’s the small details that stand out on this beguiling debut.”
The Guardian – 4 Stars ****

“in one giant leap they’ve announced themselves as great prospects… Stealing Sheep will be unstoppable.”
BBC Music

“Into The Diamond Sun takes a standard set of pop music tools and fashions them into something unique. This is a complete record with no duds and no failed experiments. Stealing Sheep are so far ahead of the game that the follow-up record is already one of the most eagerly awaited in memory.”
Loud and Quiet – 7/10
