Charlie Boyer and The Voyeurs debut album announcement

Charlie Boyer and The Voyeurs - 'Clarietta' packshot

Charlie Boyer and The Voyeurs announce details of debut album ‘Clarietta’, out 27th May on Heavenly

After their sold-out headline show at London’s Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, it gives us great pleasure to announce details of the debut album from Charlie Boyer and The Voyeurs.

Clarietta’ will be released on Monday 27th May via Heavenly — the very same week the band make their Field Day debut.

Recorded and produced by Edwyn Collins and Seb Lewsley at West Heath Yard Studios, the 11 song-strong album features live favourites including new single ‘Things We Be’ (released ahead of the LP on 25th March — video below) as well as newer highlights that the band have been previewing at recent shows (if the dark and thundering ‘I’ve Got A River’ doesn’t get your heart pumping, we don’t know what will).

Once the listener get’s beyond the references, Clarietta really hits the mark, with a high strike rate of knock out tunes.” — Q Magazine ★★★★

Charlie Boyer and his crew display an impressive classicism, but retain the vigour of youth” –The Guardian (7/10)

For most bands, putting out an album just after forming would be a mistake, a sub-standard waste of a debut. For Charlie Boyer and The Voyeurs, it’s quite the opposite”. –The Fly Magazine ★★★★
