We can’t quite believe it’s been 15 years since its release, but we’re very pleased to say that Beth Orton’s 1999 album ‘Central Reservation’ is to be reissued for the first time, with Beth playing a handful of special shows where she’ll be performing the record in its entirety.
‘Central Reservation’ will be re-issued on 3 Loop Music as a 2CD expanded edition on 30th June, with a bonus disc compiled by Beth featuring b-sides, unreleased live recordings and demos.
First released on Heavenly in March of 1999, the album spent 56 weeks in the chart — selling over 500,000 copies — and received a Mercury Music Prize nomination, as well as help Beth earn a BRIT Award in 2000 for Best British Female.
