Mattiel have just shared an absolutely stunning video today. Directed by Jason Travis, ‘Je Ne Me Connais Pas‘, is the latest track to be taken from their second album, ‘Satis Factory‘, (released on June 14th).

Matt Wilkinson had first play on Beats 1 earlier this morning.

Talking about the video, Mattiel said:
“There’s a line where I say “I’m a lone star man, I’m a dead ringer.” I think the concept for the video stems from this – and it also stems from the dualities of my personality. But it’s absolutely exaggerated and light hearted. We had a blast making it – and it was fun to freak myself out in the mirror. I genuinely felt different in drag, and I had a great time exploring this dirtbag character I conjured up. I learned that manspreading is a choice, and facial hair is really itchy. And I felt absolutely disgusting by the time we wrapped the shoot, so it was very much an immersive experience. Of course, I owe a big thanks to our incredible makeup artist Kathleen Pardo, stylist Tess Awal who taped down my boobs, the lovely bikini models, set designer Tamara Gurevich, our DP Tyler Evans, and my friend Jason Travis who directed the video.”
