Confidence Man unveil The Moonlandingz ‘De-Mix’ of ‘Boyfriend’ (Repeat)

Brisbane, Australia’s Confidence Man have unveiled a totally insane Moonlandingz remix of their debut single ‘Boyfriend’ (Repeat).

Talking about the remix, Confidence Man said:

“Never met anyone who’d been to the moon before so when we met the Moonlandingz we were already quite impressed. And with this remix we’re now double impressed”

While Adrian from The Moonlandingz added:

“Confidence Man are about fun and doing things differently, in the same way that The Moonlandingz are about fun but doing & saying important things subversively – and although geographically we are worlds apart – our attitudes and sense of humour and love for great weirdo outsider pop music – has us bound internally, like family. Which is why – my musical partner in Moonlandingz world, Mr Dean Honer and I – did this deconstructed – robot at a hoedown – remix!
In return, Confidence Man have done a Confidence Man version of our next single..coming soon, hopefully we’ll collaborate on something else in the future, until then – strip off and enjoy!”

Signed to Heavenly Recordings, earlier this year the band wowed audiences across the UK with their jaw droppingly-good, beyond high energy live shows – the band played sold out shows at the Social, Sebright Arms and MOTH Club in London amongst much talked-about appearances across The Great Escape, Dot to Dot and Glastonbury Festivals – and while here made both Annie Mac’s New Names Track of the Week and Huw Stephens’ Track of the Week on their respective BBC Radio 1 shows.

Fronted by Janet Planet and Sugar Bones, the band have been making a name for themselves as one of this year’s must-see festival bands and recently made a much talked about appearance at the Splendour In The Grass festival in Australia, the live footage of which has already racked up over 1 million plays online on the Triple J Unearthed Facebook page.
