Last month we announced that we had signed singer songwriter Dan Stock and released his first track ‘Baby Valentino’ into the world.

Now we have a brand new track ‘Have You Heard The News’ which you can listen to here:

Talking about the track, Dan said:

‘Have You Heard The News’ is an observation of everything that’s going on in the world at the moment. The song lists both the big and small news which constantly surrounds us but what it keeps coming back to are the moments when what’s between two people feels like the only thing that really matters. I want people to get something from my songs like I get from the music I love. All I can wish for is that the words can provoke some sort of reaction, whether it makes people want to laugh, cry or sing with outstretched arms, there’d be no greater achievement than that for me.

This track, like ‘Baby Valentino’ is accompanied by a beautifully shot video directed by acclaimed BAFTA winning director Kieran Evans (Kelly + Victor, the Manic Street Preachers documentary, Culture, Alienation, Boredom and Despair and Dexys: Nowhere Is Home).

These two tracks will form part of an EP titled ‘Take It Too Far’ with news on this release to be announced soon.

In May Dan is playing all the great new music festivals as well as supporting label mate Hatchie in London.
