Last Saturday saw independent record labels come together in support of #loverecordstores event. Amongst friends on an all-star line-up, we got involved all day and GOT DOWN all night too.

At 9am special releases went online via the 135 participating stores and many sold out within in minutes!

To celebrate the occasion there were live sessions, conversations and some wonderful mixes beamed into our homes. We also headed online to support our favourite record shop and discovered new shops to explore via the #loverecordstores blog too.

Now, you can listen and watch back the programme, here are the Heavenly highlights.

TUNE IN HERE

The #loverecordstores virtual 24 hour party for live music fans and crate diggers was organised as part of the on going campaign to support independent music retailers during the Covid-19 crisis and beyond.

Back in March when the shops closed and we were forced to stay in doors, we were reminded of the magic of the record shop and what they mean to us as music fans.

Love Record Stores blog is a great place to discover record shops outside of your local area, taking you on a musical journey.

Many of these shops have began to re-open their doors and are welcoming customers back in-store. We wish them all the best of luck during these un-certain times.

All participating stores remain open online too.

LOVE RECORD SHOPS

A reminder that there are limited edition ‘label’ t-shirts on sale for the next few days with all proceeds going towards the #saveourvenues campaign.

We hope to be back inside these shops soon and return next year for another #loverecordstores event too.
