Following their recent assault on Glastonbury, where they were widely hailed as the band of the weekend up at the Park Stage, storming of Later…with Jools Holland and recent Radio 1 B-listed single ‘Holiday’, Confidence Man return with a new version of album track ‘Angry Girl’ on which they go head-to-head with CHAI. Undoubtedly the band of this summer, they are also currently riding high in the Shazam chart.

Talking about the track Confidence Man said:

“Love doesn’t have to be a two way street. It can be a bunch of hotties colliding at every turn. That’s kinda like what we have here. A collaboration that makes more sense than most things in the natural world. Conman x CHAI forever.”

CHAI added:

“Our friends have gone all out with their anger

Anger, excitement and panic are all up to you

This song really reminds us of Confidence Man’s raging and burning love performances, and is like a powerful energy drink.

Who cares about responsibility?!”

The track is accompanied by a fantastic video featuring illustrations by Yuukie of CHAI and animated by Luke Ramsey.

The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming RE-TILT EP (out Friday 30 September). Announced today, the thumping remix EP will feature reworks from Tame Impala, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, CC:DISCO!, X Coast, Daniel Avery, CHAI and Erol Alkan.
