Raf Rundell has today shared ‘Always Fly (ft. Terri Walker)’, the latest single taken from his forthcoming second album, ‘O.M. Days’!

For those not familiar with the name, Terri Walker first broke through in the UK as a featured artist in a string of UKG tracks, including the Top Twenty hit ‘Sing-A-Long’ (for Shanks & Bigfoot) before garnering a string of nominations for her debut album Untitled (Mercury Music Prize, four MOBO nods, all in 2003). She has subsequently released three more albums as well as has collaborating with numerous industry luminaries, from veteran soulman Omar to post-dubstep chieftain Donaeo.

Terri Said of ‘Always Fly‘:

“You can trust US, lose control. As we giving you that good good music from the soul! You’ll see when you watch the video. Pure joy!

Raf added:

Here, my dears, is a piece of Grown and Sexy R’nB for the 20’s. Lady Terri Walker, a true treasure of London’s music scene is ALWAYS FLY.

The video for the track takes inspiration from the promo clip made for George Michael & Aretha Franklin’s 1987 hit I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me). Talking about the video, director Milo said:

“Reinventing George Michael and Aretha’s I Knew You Were Waiting video for Raf’s earworm Always Fly was quite a ride. As you can see, the shoot was a top buzz, and everyone involved brought the magic – It couldn’t have been more fly! Share it and sing
it.”
