In February Unloved release their brand new album ‘Heartbreak.’ Today, the band made up of vocalist and songwriter Jade Vincent, her partner the producer/composer Keefus Ciancia, and the DJ and producer/composer David Holmes, have released a new track & video, ‘Love.’

Taking about Love, David said, “Love was one of the first things we cut from the new record and was Inspired by the raw, propulsive sound of 50’s Rock ‘n’ Roll and primitive electronics” Jade added, “and doesn’t everybody want love?”

Lauren Lavern had the exclusive first play on her BBC 6 Music morning show which you can listen to here.

‘Heartbreak’ is a rich, deep record possessing a sound at once hauled out of the silty depths of the past, and simultaneously wholly modern, the heart of the songs lie in Vincent’s sublime voice and lyrics, both possessed of an aching, rich-smoked tone. “There’s a maturity to Jade’s voice and a maturity to the songs that sounds like this is someone who’s lived, and properly had her heart broken, and is full of love,” says Holmes.

Having recently supported Étienne Daho at 5 sold-out shows at L’Olympia, Paris, they made debut live U.K. performance last night at London’s Hoxton Hall, and play a second, sold-out show there on December 5th. Further live dates for 2019 will be announced shortly.

Additionally, the band have just unveiled the Keefus Ciancia Reminisce remix of album track Remember. The remix, featuring French artist Étienne Daho, can be heard here:

In the meantime the band have provided the songs for Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s acclaimed new series Killing Eve, which started airing on the BBC on September 15th this year. The series has already aired in the U.S. where Sandra Oh has received an Emmy nomination for her lead role.
