The Orielles have today shared the dubbed-out Wrongtom remixes of their recent single ‘Space Samba (Disco Volador Theme)’.
Talking about the remix, Wrongtom said:
“I was already a fan of The Orielles’ mish-mash of pyschedelic post-punk-pop, so when I heard the mutant disco of Space Samba, I knew I had to get my dubby mitts on it.”

In the remix mindset the trio are offering fans a chance to remix ‘Disco Volador’ album track ‘Euro Borealis’. Talking about the competition, the band said:
We thought that a remix competition would be a great idea during these weird self-isolation times. Being big fans of doing remixes ourselves, as well as listening to and DJing remixes, encouraging you guys to get creative and having access to our album in a unique way was something we liked the idea of. We’re buzzing to see what you aspiring astral travellers come up with! Boogie to space!
The music files needed to remix the track are available here. Please email theorielles@gmail.com with your mixes! The competition deadline is April 23rd and the winner will have their remix pressed on a one off dub-plate and receive a copy of ‘Disco Volador’ on vinyl and an Orielles t-shirt.
