Horse Meat Discoās rework of ‘Motherās been a bad girl’ shifts the track through the decades, installing a giant glitter ball in the studio before setting about changing the musical backdrop from psychedelic-drone-glam to wide eyed, bass driven hypno-disco.
The second mix comes from Derry-born DJ/producer Or:la who slows things down and takes the track off into chasmic electronic dub territory reminiscent of the mighty Sabres of Paradise.

Unlovedās latest release, THE PINK ALBUM, is dawn and dusk, the epic and the intimate. This 22-track double album, its title inspired by the artwork of Julian House, features collaborations with Jarvis Cocker, Ćtienne Daho, Raven Violet and Jon Spencer. Pink has it modulations: shocking at times but signifying also tenderness, intimacy, the carnal. THE PINK ALBUM knows the shades of love, its nuances, and how it can be delicious ā and frightening. Marvellous ā and aching. Rather than be the silver lining to the cloud, THE PINK ALBUM mines deeper, to a precious ore, dark and glitteringā¦
ā¦Be seduced by the whispered, languorous, bluesy, not so sweet nothings of Love Experiment and the lippy insouciance of Turn of the screw. Thrill to the infinite variety: Motherās been a bad girl is brazen, and I donāt like you anymore gloriously sultry. Here is Foolinā, where languid, world-weary jazz sounds are skewed by a phantasmagoric organ from a funfair hallucinated, and thereās the sparkling fury and celestial chorus of Rainbrose, as though some flower-festooned goddess is emerging. Go from the jaunty keyboards and hey! hey! hey! of WTC to the melancholic poise of Ever, the jittery electropop of Girl canāt help it, to the spacious Morricone-tinged Lucky. Be reminded that the past is a snare, the future doesnāt care. All we have is Now. There is psychedelic world-warping sound, but also times when reality is acutely, achingly, present. Number in my phone is a beautiful, wistful paean to those no longer here. Jadeās remarkable voice ā whispering, icy, lush, wounded, smoky ā unifies the album with its striking diversity.
