A great homage to one of their natural musical forbearers, it’s no surprise to those that know them, that the Texan band, led by Danny Lee Blackwell, have effortlessly captured the spirit of the garage rock classic from the Pacific Northwest band who have rightly been held up as both musical pioneers and heroes of their generation.

Treading that line between keeping the legacy of this classic album burning bright, while injecting their own brand of earth-quakin’ soul-shakin, maximum R&B, Night Beats, featuring Mike From Mystery Lights, Cole from Black Lips and Julien from Warbly Jets on this recording, have successfully drawn a fuzz and feedback coated line between themselves and this era-defining record.

Earlier this year Night Beats released their fourth studio album ‘Myth Of A Man.’

“Somebody has taken a feather duster to the corners of Night Beats’ latest album after the webbed and greasy garage of 2013’s ‘Sonic Bloom’ and 2016’s ‘Who Sold My Generation.’ ‘Myth Of A Man’ feels cleaner & brighter, frontman Danny Lee Blackwell’s songs glinting with new light.” – Mojo
